Fighting between Ethiopia’s federal government and forces from the country’s Tigray region has displaced more than two million people since November 2020, according to the U.N. This year, the fighting has shifted in the country’s Afar region, displacing more Ethiopians as well as refugees from neighboring Eritrea seeking safety.
