After five years of very little rain, California Governor Jerry Brown finally ended the state’s drought emergency. The state’s savior was winter snow that buried mountain ranges, and is now refilling reservoirs and wells. But the drought’s effects linger, and after all that sun, wet weather is bringing its own problems. VOA’s Kevin Enochs reports.
